Kevin Durant is the Dan Marino of the NBA

After the catastrophic meltdown of the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, Kevin Durant can add another playoff choke to his list. There are already predictions about his next potential landing spot, which ranges from the Los Angeles Lakers to even the San Antonio Spurs. What many sports analysts and fans do not realize is that Kevin Durant will never win a NBA championship no matter where he goes. He is the Dan Marino of the NBA.

Kevin Durant could be the all time leading scorer in NBA history with a record number of scoring titles when this all comes to an end, but will be without a NBA title. This first came in part thanks to Rapper Lil B, who called out Kevin Durant in a tweet from 2012 saying that Durant was cursed. The rapper also sent out a tweet before the Western Conference Finals saying that Thunder would not win the series. Lil B is also famously known for sending a curse of Rockets guard James Harden in last years playoffs. Harden and the Rockets ended up being knocked out by the Warriors in the playoffs as well. The moral of the story, don't mess with Lil B.

I am going to make my bold prediction on Kevin Durant's career. I said he will not win championship in the NBA, but I do believe he will eventually get his title, in the WNBA.

That's right, you heard that correctly. I believe that Kevin Durant will sign a two year deal with the Thunder this summer and then announce his return to Seattle to join the Seattle Storm. He will team up and form a Big 3 with Brittany Griner and Elena Delle Donne. The Storm are sitting at a solid 2-3 this season and with the addition on Durant, could be legitimate title contender in a couple of years. Make sure you buy your storm jersey now because you do not want to be considered a bandwagon fan.
