After playing awful in the first two games of the NBA Finals the Cavaliers suddenly turn it around when Kevin Love doesn't play. Coincidence? I think not. The Cavaliers won because Kevin Love did not play in game 3. The Cavaliers won by 30 points after losing by 33 points in game 2, which is the largest swing in NBA Finals history and this all in thanks to number 0.

It makes sense to me now. Kevin Love wears the number 0 because that's how many minutes he needs to play for the Cavaliers to win a game. Without Love, Lebron and Kyrie both play extremely well in game 2, scoring a combined 63 points between the two. With Love out of the lineup Cavaliers head coach Tyron Lue was forced to use a lineup he had never used before, starting Richard Jefferson at small forward, which moved Lebron to the power forward. Richard Jefferson was more effective than Kevin Love on the court and was actually able to stay healthy.
The absence of Kevin Love even seemed to throw off the big 3 of the Warriors. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green looked like they forgot how to play basketball and Stephen Curry showed us how ineffective he was when the three point shot was not going in. Since Kevin Love was not playing in game 3, the Warriors felt like that it would be appropriate to shoot and defend like him in his honor. What a nice gesture by the Warriors players. Makes me respect them a lot more now.
The Cavaliers obviously play much better without Kevin Love in the game. If I were Tyron Lue I would make Love solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded before he can even think about returning to the court. The Cavaliers need to start dropping hints like "accidentally" forgetting him on the bus ride to the stadium or on the plane ride to Golden State. Maybe then he will get the idea. The Cavaliers could even trade Kevin Love to the WNBA, where they never have to worry about him ever again. Let's be honest, Kevin Love's time in Cleveland is over. Can we expect Kevin Love to play in game 4? Absolutely not.
